Hobbycraft Ipswich ROCK!
This week we have selected Hobbycraft Ipswich as our hero store as they have been having some awesome conversations with their customers. We have picked out a couple of our favourite conversations from the week to share with you, store colleague Carmen is one of our #ShopfloorHeroes for responding to customers on behalf of the store.
This conversation began when Hobbycraft Ipswich responded to one of their followers broadcasts sharing some cakes she had made for Remembrance Day. Hobbycraft Ipswich have been very encouraging throughout the conversation and have ensured to ask questions to encourage further conversation.
This extended conversation is a great example of how stores can get to know their followers and share some positive encouragement towards their makes. Store colleague Carmen has shown a genuine interest towards the customer on behalf of the store. This is fantastic as it helps to build a good relationship between the store and the customer.
We also saw another short conversation from the store last week, this one was with a local primary school who reached out to their local store to share some photos of the roman mosaics that their year 4 class have recently completed.
Store colleague Carmen has responded promptly to the follower in an encouraging manner. Carmen has also ensured to ask the school a further question to encourage more conversation.
Both of these conversations are good examples of how a store can build relationships with their local customers by showing interest and enthusiasm towards their makes.
If you're keen to get to know your local followers, why not start by asking them a question on Twitter. For example we often see Hobbycraft stores asking their customers to share what they have been making recently. This is a great way to start having conversations on Twitter!
