Happy Valentine's Day! For this week's #ShopfloorHeroes blogpost we think it's time to have a look at some of the awesome Valentine's inspired broadcasts we have seen from Hobbycraft stores over the past week.
We love seeing all of the awesome tweets Hobbycraft stores have created for their customers, it's great to see exciting imagery coming through on the store's Twitter timeline's especially during seasonal events such as Valentine's Day!
We have picked out a few examples to share with you and offer you inspiration when creating your own tweets:
News update broadcasts
Over the past weekend, Hobbycraft stores have been tweeting about the Valentine's card making workshop they were holding in their stores. It has been great to see some of the creations from customers following these events!
Hobbycraft Preston have celebrated their customer's creations by sharing some of their works in progress.
Hobbycraft Chester have used Twitter to update their customer's with the availability of their workshop. This is a great way to keep customer's up to date with what's happening in their local store!
Hobbycraft Ipswich have also shared some images of the workshop in session. It's great to see customers featured in the tweets.
A couple of the broadcasts feature questions which is great to see as this may encourage your customers to engage with your post and response. It's always fantastic to see coverage of in-store events as this is a good way to encourage other followers to come into store in the future or potentially to book on to an event.
Product feature/ offer broadcasts
We have also seen a few good broadcasts from store's featuring some of the Valentine's products that are currently in store. Sharing the availability of products is a great way to let your local customer's know what's on offer and also to give them inspiration about what they could buy and create.
Again, It is great to see store's using questions in their broadcasts as this encourages conversation!
Top tips to consider when creating a broadcast on behalf of your store:
1. Aim to use a clear photo. If possible include a store colleague as this can make a broadcast more eye-catching!
2. Aim to include a question in your tweet. Questions are a great way to encourage a conversation and get to know your customers.
3. Aim to include a personal sign-off at the end of your broadcast. Personal sign-offs are a great way to let your customers get to know the different colleagues that work in your store and more specifically who wrote the tweet!
