Welcome back! It's been a scorcher of a week and we hope you've enjoyed the lovely weather. As usual, before you sign-off for the weekend, we wanted to share another #ShopfloorHeroes blogpost with you.
This week we have picked out three of our favourite news updates from Hobbycraft stores. It has been great to see the store's using their broadcasts to remind their customers that they are open and ready to help them with their crafting needs even with the new restrictions that have been placed on stores.
The following tweet is from Hobbycraft Colchester and features their colleague Alex waiting at the door to greet the store's customers. The store have also used a brand suggested hashtag as well as a local one which is great as this may allow them to engage with individuals using the hashtag in their local area.
The next couple of broadcasts from Hobbycraft Yeovil and Hobbycraft Loughton feature colleagues at the till points. It is great to see photos of colleagues in the store as this adds interest to the store's Twitter timeline and can also work to make a broadcast more engaging.
Hobbycraft Yeovil have used their broadcast to let their customers know that it is quiet in-store, we think this is great as it can help customers decide when they want to pop in to store if they would prefer to visit at a quieter time.
Hobbycraft Loughton have used an up-beat tone in their broadcast and have let their customers know what time they are open. Store colleague Millie has also used a personal sign-off which is fantastic as it adds more personality to the store's Twitter and lets the customer know who they are talking to if they respond to the tweet.
Why not use Twitter to let your customers know what is happening in their local store and let them know how busy it is at certain times?
