This week we wanted to focus on broadcasts and take a look at some of the awesome news updates that Hobbycraft stores have been sharing over the past few weeks. For their Art Sale event, Hobbycraft are hosting Facebook Live events in various stores which feature a live demo from their awesome artisans.
Last week Hobbycraft Preston shared some awesome 'behind-the-scenes' content during the Facebook Live which was great. This is a fantastic way to give local followers an exclusive insight into what is happening in their local store and hopefully encourage them to head over to the brand page to watch the Facebook live.
The store began building up interest prior to the event and ensured to let their customers know when it was happening so that they could tune in.
The store even shared some exclusive sneak pics of what artisan Beth was planning to create during the Live. This is a fantastic way to build up excitement.
These news update broadcasts were great as we saw other stores sharing them which also built up interest in the live and encouraged other store followers watch it.
We think Hobbycraft Preston set an awesome example of how to share news updates to promote an in-store event. They did a great job!
Using news updates effectively is a great way to keep your customers up to date with what is happening in stores and add a more personal touch to your store's Twitter timeline.
