Sharing events/ workshops on Twitter | #ShopfloorHeroes

Over the past month we have seen some fantastic tweets coming through from Hobbycraft stores since workshops have started again. Sharing details of the in-store workshops is a great way to let local customers know what is happening in-store and what to expect if they are booking on to the events.


We have selected three of our favourite tweets from the past few weeks:

The above tweet from Hobbycraft Cardiff is great! It is awesome to see store colleague April showcasing what can be created with the Cricut machine. The store have also ensured to use a question in the tweet to encourage engagement with their followers.

The above tweet from Hobbycraft Yeovil is also great, the store have showcased the boxes that customers receive when booking onto a workshop. This is a great way to show customers what they can expect from a workshop. Yeovil have also ensured to link to the website which is good as this makes it super easy for customers to book on to the workshops.

Last but not least, the above tweet from Hull is fab! The store have shared a 'behind-the-scenes' photo during the workshop which is great to see! The store have also asked their followers a question, again, this is great as it may encourage customers to book on to one of the in-store events.


It has been awesome to see store colleagues showcasing the workshops on Twitter as this offers them a good opportunity to encourage their followers to book onto events. Featuring colleagues enables stores to add a human touch to their Twitter and can create a more eye-catching tweet.
