Hi there, welcome back to this week's #ShopfloorHeroes blogpost. We hope everyone is keeping well and is looking forward to the weekend! This week we have selected a hero store, Hobbycraft Southampton. The store have been sharing a lot of inspiration with their customers recently including colleague makes. They have also shared some great projects from Hobbycraft's ideas hub too.
We loved this short conversation that the store had with their customer, Sue. It is great to see the brand and the store responding to the customer. The store have been very up-beat in their responses and have ensured to respond to the customer promptly.
We have also selected a couple of the store's tweets featuring colleague makes, it is great to see the diversity in projects. The store have ensured to use a very upbeat copy in their tweets which is great as it works to create an eye-catching and engaging broadcast.
As you can see store colleague Emily is very talented! It is fantastic to see the store sharing colleague makes as this may inspire the store's followers to have a go at a new craft or even share what they have been making.
Here are a couple of tips to use when responding to customers on Twitter:
- Aim to use personal sign-offs so that the follower knows who they are talking to.
- Try to be up-beat in your response and ask questions to encourage further conversation.
